Our server was outstanding and the food was delicious! To the manager's credit, they helped bring our food and made sure we had everything needed.
Then to add insult to injury, while seating us the manager asked sarcastically, "What? Were you waiting for 30 minutes?" Stunned, we asked if they were being brazenly sarcastic or just simply allowing the disregard for guests to go to another low? We were made to watch employees ignore us along with seeing tremendous disrespect and hostility going on between management and employees (and it was seriously unprofessional on every level!). Our thought is, at a minimum, greet your guests and let them know they'll be assisted soon. The manager didn't really listen and immediately gave us a "this is not a big deal" attitude while explaining that the employees behind the check-out counter are for retail, when we were requesting services for the restaurant.
We finally asked of the 3 employees standing behind the check-out counter (who never even greeted or acknowledged us) to be seated and see a manager. We went in and we're made to wait without a word from anyone for around 10 minutes with another family in front of us. On this visit, it was especially slow (maybe 12 cars in the parking lot). It's extremely rare we write this type of review but our trip to one of our staples warrants us sharing in hopes that the staff knows what we and others experienced there last week.Ĭracker Barrel is for us a quick way to get good. All the syrup and toppings tasted liked sugar free.Long story short everything was HORRIBLE! This has the worst experience my family and I have had at Cracker Barrel and will not be returning! More We also ordered the french toast w/peach topping. We told the server and she claimed all the hashbrowns come with onions, which was untrue because we've ordered at other Cracker Barrel locations were we've ordered hashbrowns without onions. Her food comes out with onions in the hashbrown. My daughter ordered the hashbrown casserole WITHOUT onions and tomatoes. Our main server raved about how good the watermelon lemonade was so the whole table ordered it, we then placed our food order.Well let me say the WATERMELON LEMONADE was HORRIBLE!!! They kept forcing refills on us after we said we didn't want anymore. forgot her name, but she training another server. Walking in we were seated immediately, upon walking into the dining room we saw the manager a short baldheaded white guy who act like he was scared to speak to us. My family and I visited this establishment on 7/29/21.
